As a Puppy Development Manager, you will:
Support and mentor puppy raisers – offering training, advice, and practical support to help them navigate challenges.
Oversee puppy socialisation and training – ensuring every dog is exposed to positive experiences and taught essential skills.
Monitor health and welfare – coordinating veterinary care and ensuring each puppy’s needs are fully met.
Develop and manage our puppy programme – including curriculum development and alignment with organisational goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders – including families, veterinary professionals, and our training team.
Maintain detailed records and reporting – tracking each puppy’s development and reporting on progress.
Support recruitment and retention of volunteers and boarders where needed.
Troubleshoot challenges – providing solutions and support to raisers during critical stages.
Autism Dogs Charity is a UK-based organisation dedicated to supporting autistic individuals and their families through the provision of fully trained assistance dogs. As the only autism assistance dog programme run by autistic people for autistic people, we take a unique and compassionate approach that integrates canine expertise with therapeutic support for families.
