Autism Dogs Charity Expands Its Reach with the Acquisition of a Second Property

We’re hugely proud to announce the acquisition of a new property, marking a significant milestone in Autism Dogs Charity’s continued growth and commitment to supporting autistic people.

With this addition, the charity now operates from two locations: one in leafy Cheshire and a second in Lincolnshire by the seaside. This expansion is about more than geography. It’s about creating the right environments for learning, development, and support, for autistic individuals, their families, and our wonderful dogs in training.

Why a second location matters

As our community grows, so does the need for space that supports high-quality, individual-centred provision. Our new Lincolnshire base offers increased space and improved facilities, helping us to:

  • provide greater flexibility in how and where support is delivered
  • develop environments that feel calm, predictable, and practical for training and learning
  • strengthen our capacity across programmes as demand increases
  • support our dedicated teams as they deliver day-to-day work with families and dogs

These improvements give us the foundations to build sustainably, without rushing. It’s an investment in stability and long-term impact.

Supporting the Foundation Programme

This expansion represents a key building block in the long-term success of the charity’s Foundation Programme. With more room to operate across two sites, we can continue developing tailored pathways that reflect the needs, strengths, and aspirations of autistic individuals.

The wider environment also supports the ongoing development of our dogs in training, giving our teams more options for structured learning experiences and progression.

A message from the charity

“This new property is a hugely important step for our charity and, most importantly, for the autistic people we support and our wonderful dogs in training.

It gives us the space and stability to grow thoughtfully, develop our Foundation Programme, and create environments where autistic individuals can feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.

The acquisition reflects Autism Dogs Charity’s ongoing commitment to sustainable growth and to creating inclusive, supportive spaces that enable autistic people to reach their full potential.”

Thank you

We’re grateful to everyone who supports Autism Dogs Charity, from our families and volunteers to donors and partners. This milestone is part of a longer journey, and we’re committed to building something that lasts, with care, quality, and community at its heart.
