Job Opportunity: Animal Welfare Home Support

Part-Time: 24 hours per week (extra hours on an ad-hoc basis optional)

• ‍Locations 1: South East Region (to cover the area around London) 
• ‍Location 2: North West (to cover the area around Cheshire, Manchester)
• ‍Location 3: East Midlands (to cover the area around Lincolnshire)

Salary: £24,960.00 pro rata 

Autism Dogs Charity is expanding its animal welfare support network and seeks committed individuals to support the ethical and nurturing development of puppies and adolescent dogs destined to become autism assistance dogs.

You will play a key role in ensuring puppies grow up in environments that support optimal development, welfare, and the foundations of successful service animal work.

Key Duties:

• Visit puppy placements to monitor well-being and development.
• Support families with bespoke guidance on:
  
  • Toilet training
  • Nutrition
  • First aid basics
  • General welfare
• Submit detailed welfare reports and communicate any concerns.
• Collaborate with our trainer team to ensure consistency.

Requirements:

• Experience in dog care, veterinary support, or behaviour.
• Confidence in providing welfare guidance and reporting findings.
• Access to your own transport (a car is essential).
